The APRICOT 2026 Program Committee has opened its call for presentations and tutorials for the annual Internet Operations Conference, which will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia, from February 4 to 12, 2026. The committee is chaired by Mark Duffell, Mark Tinka, and Vincent Atienza.

Organisers are seeking proposals for technical tutorials, individual conference talks, chaired panels, and informal Birds of a Feather (BoF) sessions. Slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, even before the published deadlines.

Key dates

  • Call for presentations: open now
  • Final submission deadline: 5 January 2026
  • Final program published: 23 January 2026
  • Final slides due: 8 February 2026

Program structure and topics
The program comprises a Peering Forum, tutorials, and conference tracks. Proposals should focus on internet operations and technologies, including (among others): IPv4/IPv6 routing and operations; routing security (RPKI, MANRS); backbone operations; peering, interconnects and internet exchange points; data center design and scaling; content delivery networks; research on operations and deployment; network virtualization and automation; infrastructure security; IPv6 deployment on fixed and mobile networks; DNS/DNSSEC/KINDNS; access and transport; technical uses of public blockchains; cloud service delivery; optical transport (400G/800G/1.6T ZR variants, OpenROADM/OpenXR); Open RAN; and submarine cables.

For the Peering Forum, ‘Peering Personal’ submissions should consist of a single slide referencing the operator’s PeeringDB entry.

Submission requirements
Draft slides must be included with every proposal; submissions without slides are rejected. Slides should be in PDF, contain original work with confidential markings removed, and provide proper attribution for any third-party material. Marketing, sales, or vendor-proprietary content is not permitted. Final slides will be published on the APRICOT 2026 website by the stated deadline.

The Program Committee notes that most speaking slots are typically allocated before the final deadline; however, a small number may be reserved for exceptionally timely or operationally critical topics. Questions can be directed to the Program Committee by email.
