Final agenda published for IETF 126 meeting in Vienna

The final agenda has been published for IETF 126, the upcoming meeting of the Internet Engineering Task Force in Vienna.

The meeting will run from 18 to 24 July and is hosted by Cisco. It will include more than 100 working sessions across the technical areas covered by the IETF.

The IETF develops many of the technical standards that allow the internet to function. Its work covers areas such as routing, security, transport protocols, web technologies, email, and network operations.

The programme also includes the IETF Hackathon and the IETF Codesprint, which will take place during the opening weekend. These events allow participants to test ideas, implement protocol work, improve tools, and collaborate on practical technical tasks before the main sessions begin.

Activities for new participants will start on Sunday afternoon. These sessions are intended to help first-time attendees understand how IETF meetings work, how to follow working group discussions, and how to contribute during the week.

Participants are advised to plan their travel around the weekend programme, especially if they want to join the Hackathon, Codesprint, or newcomer activities.

The published agenda provides the final schedule for working sessions and related events during IETF 126.
