AFRINIC calls for nominations to Policy Development Appeal Committee
AFRINIC is seeking community nominations for three positions on its Policy Development Appeal Committee, which handles appeals related to decisions made by Policy Development Working Group chairs.
The AFRINIC Board has opened a call for community nominations for three positions on the AFRINIC Policy Development Appeal Committee.
The committee is responsible for adjudicating appeals under the conflict resolution section of AFRINIC’s Policy Development Process. Appeals may concern disagreements over actions taken by the chair or chairs of the Policy Development Working Group (PDWG).
The three positions available are for one former AFRINIC Director, one former PDWG Chair and one current PDWG member. The positions will be appointed by the AFRINIC Board.
The deadline for nominations was 13 August 2026 at 10:00 UTC. The committee’s Terms of Reference set out its role and responsibilities.
