The Latin American and Caribbean Internet Addresses Registry (LACNIC) has opened its call for presentations for the 2026 edition of the LACNIC Technical Forum, inviting members of the Internet community to contribute to the programme for LACNIC 45, which will take place from 11 to 15 May 2026 in Guadalajara, Mexico. The forum is a recurring component of LACNIC’s annual meetings and provides a structured space for practitioners, researchers and operators across Latin America and the Caribbean to present technical work and exchange operational insights.

The call particularly welcomes submissions addressing practical experiences and developments in IP network operations, including operational challenges, implementation lessons and documented best practices. Proposals may also focus on internet protocols such as routing and switching, work related to the Domain Name System, interconnection topics ranging from peering to the operation of IXPs and CDNs, and ongoing transitions to IPv6, including “IPv6 Mostly” and “IPv6 Only” deployments.

Interested contributors can consult further details through the official LACNIC announcement. This call is an opportunity for those working on core internet infrastructure in the region to engage with peers and support knowledge exchange ahead of next year’s meeting in Guadalajara.
