RIPE opens call for host for RIPE 95 meeting in Madrid
Organisations in the RIPE NCC service region can apply to host RIPE 95, which will take place in Madrid from 15 to 19 November 2027.
Réseaux IP Européens (RIPE) has opened a call for organisations interested in hosting the RIPE 95 meeting in Madrid.
The meeting is scheduled to take place from 15 to 19 November 2027 at the Meliá Castilla Hotel. Organisations within the RIPE Network Coordination Centre service region are invited to submit host proposals by 30 October 2026.
RIPE is an open technical community for people and organisations involved in internet infrastructure and operations. Its meetings bring together network operators, internet service providers, technical experts, researchers and others working on internet coordination.
The local host is expected to support the event in several ways. This includes helping to provide internet connectivity, sponsoring a social event, identifying venues for social evenings, finding local sponsors and offering administrative and on-site assistance.
Applicants are asked to provide details about their organisation, their motivation for hosting the meeting, Madrid’s accessibility, possible connectivity arrangements, suitable venues for social events with 450 to 500 participants, and local service providers such as baristas, photographers, transport companies and printers.
RIPE said proposals should be sent to meeting@ripe.net by 30 October 2026.
