LACNIC has opened applications for its Fellowship Program for the LACNIC 46 LACNOG 2026 event.
The event will be held from 19 to 22 October 2026 in Mendoza, Argentina. Applications for fellowships will be accepted until 6 August.
LACNIC is the regional internet registry for Latin America and the Caribbean. It manages internet number resources in the region, including IP addresses and autonomous system numbers. These resources are essential for routing traffic and connecting networks to the global internet.
LACNOG is the Latin American and Caribbean Network Operators Group. It brings together network operators, engineers, technical experts, and other internet infrastructure professionals to exchange knowledge and discuss operational issues.
The joint LACNIC and LACNOG event is an important regional meeting for technical coordination, internet infrastructure, network operations, cybersecurity, and internet governance. It also provides a space for policy discussions on how internet number resources are managed in the region.
The fellowship programme is intended to support participation by people who may not otherwise be able to attend. It helps broaden regional engagement in technical and policy discussions linked to internet development.
LACNIC said details on how to apply are available through the official fellowship application page. The application deadline is 6 August 2026.
