IGF opens calls for session proposals, Village booths and remote hubs

The Internet Governance Forum (IGF) has launched calls for contributions to its 2026 programme, inviting stakeholders to submit session proposals, applications for IGF Village booths and proposals to host remote hubs.

The calls are part of preparations for IGF 2026, which will take place in Nairobi, Kenya, from 14 to 18 December 2026. The opportunities are open to stakeholders interested in contributing to the programme or facilitating participation in the meeting.

All three calls had a common submission deadline of 31 July 2026 at 23:59 UTC.

Following the submission period, the IGF Secretariat and relevant selection processes will review the proposals and determine which sessions, Village booths and remote hubs will be included in the IGF 2026 programme. Selected contributors will subsequently receive information on the next stages of participation and preparations for the event.
