APRICOT opens fellowship applications for 2027 conference
Fellowship applications are now open for APRICOT 2027, which will take place in Hong Kong SAR from 24 February to 4 March 2027. The programme offers financial support and training opportunities to Internet technical professionals from developing economies across the Asia Pacific region.
APRICOT 2027 has opened applications for its fellowship programme, offering professionals from developing economies in the Asia Pacific region an opportunity to attend the Internet technologies and operations conference.
The fellowship is aimed at people working in technical Internet operations, including network engineering and design, network operations and Network Operations Centres, and Internet systems engineering and operations.
Fellows will have the opportunity to participate in APRICOT training, meet regional and international Internet professionals, and engage in discussions on Internet technologies and operations.
Applicants are expected to demonstrate relevant technical expertise, involvement in their local Internet community, and financial circumstances that would otherwise prevent them from attending the event. Previous APRICOT fellows are also eligible to apply.
Selected fellows will receive full coverage of registration fees for an APRICOT masterclass or the conference, as well as five nights of accommodation at the designated fellows’ hotel.
Applications are open to residents of Asian and Pacific developing economies according to the Australian Government’s definition.
The application deadline is 12 October 2026 (UTC+8). APRICOT notes that the fellowship programme is competitive and encourages applicants to review the eligibility requirements, selection criteria and key dates before applying.
