The Internet Engineering Task Force has published the agenda for IETF 125, which will be held in Shenzhen from 14 March to 20 March 2026.

The meeting begins on Saturday, 14 March, with the IETF Hackathon and IETF Codesprint, both running over the weekend. These events bring together participants to collaborate on code, test implementations linked to ongoing standards work, and improve documentation.

On Sunday afternoon, sessions aimed at new participants will take place. These are designed to help attendees understand how IETF meetings function, how working groups operate, and how to prepare for and contribute to discussions during the week.

The main programme of working group and plenary sessions runs through Friday afternoon, 20 March. The IETF has also provided an introduction to its meeting process to support participants in preparing for the week. Attendees are advised to plan their travel in line with the full schedule, including weekend activities.
