2030 Connect promotes science, technology, and innovation

The UN has kicked off an online platform called ‘2030 Connect’ to promote science, technology, and innovation (STI) for sustainable development. The platform, which targets policymakers, practitioners, students, civil society among other stakeholders; seeks to provide a one-stop-shop for identifying expertise and networks of the UN system and its partners. Additionally, the platform has a cross-platform search function and feature stories with links to science and technology resources. Users can also search material based on publications and knowledge resources; technology solutions; financial resources and matchmaking; capacity development, and others. This is part of an initiative of the Inter-Agency Task Team, which is a network of UN agencies working to advance STI for sustainable development through the Technology Facilitation Mechanism.
