On 6 November 2024, Karisma delivered a workshop at the Youth LACIGF in Santiago, Chile, based on its Sexting School initiative. The session engaged nearly 40 young leaders from across Latin America and the Caribbean in a dialogue on digital safety, gender, and consent in online spaces.
Participants discussed sexting as a care-based practice, analysed regional variations in legal and cultural attitudes, and reflected on how sexting intersects with broader debates on digital rights and internet governance. The workshop helped reframe digital safety in more inclusive, youth-informed terms and sparked ideas for applying the approach in local contexts.
