The Global Conference on Cyber Capacity Building (GC3B) 2025

13 May 2025 - 15 May 2025

The Global Conference on Cyber Capacity Building (GC3B) will take place on 13–14 May 2025 at the International Conference Center Geneva (CICG) in Switzerland. Hosted by the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) in collaboration with the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise (GFCE), this high-level event aims to elevate cyber capacity development within global governance and development agendas.

Building upon the momentum of the inaugural GC3B held in Accra, Ghana, in 2023, the 2025 conference will continue to drive actions aligned with the Accra Call for Cyber Resilient Development. This framework outlines a set of voluntary actions to promote cyber capacity development and support broader sustainable development goals.

The GC3B 2025 program is structured around three core pillars:

  • Rethink: Integrating cybersecurity into international cooperation to protect digital investments and support sustainable development.
  • Evolve: Adapting cyber capacity development approaches to be more demand-driven, effective, inclusive, and locally sustained.
  • Anticipate: Addressing emerging technologies’ impact on cyber resilience, including related capacity needs, skills demands, and security risks.

As a cornerstone event of the inaugural Geneva Cyber Week (12–16 May 2025), GC3B 2025 will bring together policymakers, cybersecurity experts, and stakeholders from around the world to discuss strategies for a secure digital future.
