ICANN: Introduction to the New gTLD Program: 2026 Round

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) will host an informational webinar titled Introduction to the New Generic Top-Level Domains (gTLD) Program: 2026 Round on 20 January 2026 at 08:00 UTC.

This 60-minute webinar is designed for participants who are new to the domain name industry or unfamiliar with the New gTLD Program. It will provide an overview of what generic top-level domains are, how the New gTLD Program is structured, how applications are processed, and the purpose of each evaluation stage in the 2026 Round.

The session is open to potential applicants, ICANN community members, and other interested stakeholders. It will be recorded and will include time for questions and answers.
