Internet Governance Forum 2025
The 20th annual Internet Governance Forum (IGF) will be held in Lillestrøm, Norway, from 23 to 27 June 2025, under the theme Building Governance Together. The forum will provide a key opportunity to the global internet community to shape the future of internet governance ahead of the WSIS+20 process.
The Civil Society Alliances for Digital Empowerment (CADE) will be present on-site to organise and participate in a number of sessions. CADE partners will emphasise the essential role of civil society organisations, especially from the Global Majority, in shaping local, regional, and global digital policy. CADE partners will also contribute to ongoing dialogue on rights-based digital governance.

- On-the-spot exchanges at the CADE booth as part of our peer learning community: Join us at CADE’s booth to join our growing community, and learn more about our study findings. This includes: How CSOs and the IGF community can – and already do – implement the exchange of knowledge; positions and analysis on key developments in IG policy and how this impacts international human rights; and how CADE partners are fostering inclusive participation, particularly from the Global South, to promote a human-centric policy approach in shaping digital policies and standards.
We are also planning the launch of new tools for CSOs – stay tuned!
