IGF 2026 confirms Nairobi venue for December meeting
The 21st annual Internet Governance Forum (IGF) will take place at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi, Kenya, from 14 to 18 December 2026. While the dates had been announced earlier, the Kenyan government has now confirmed the venue.
The Government of Kenya has confirmed that the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi will host the 21st annual Internet Governance Forum (IGF), scheduled for 14–18 December 2026. The meeting dates were announced previously, with the latest notice specifying the venue.
The IGF is a United Nations-convened multistakeholder forum where governments, civil society, the private sector and the technical community discuss public policy issues related to the internet. Its annual meeting provides a platform to exchange perspectives on digital governance and emerging technology issues.
