ICANN publishes schedule for ICANN87 Prep Week
ICANN has released the schedule for its ICANN87 Prep Week, with ten online sessions planned from 5 to 7 October 2026 ahead of the annual meeting in Bali.
The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has published the schedule for ICANN87 Prep Week, which will take place from 5 to 7 October 2026 ahead of the ICANN87 Annual General Meeting in Bali, Indonesia.
The three-day programme will feature ten sessions covering issues including DNS abuse mitigation, the 2026 New gTLD Round, regional Internet registry governance, contractual compliance, policy development and implementation, and geopolitical and regulatory developments.
Sessions will be conducted in English, with remote simultaneous interpretation available in French and Spanish. Participants must register for ICANN87 to attend the Prep Week sessions.
The sessions will take place online at different times each day, beginning at 15:00 UTC. Information on remote participation will be published 24 hours before each session, while presentation materials, recordings and transcripts will be made available on the ICANN87 website as they are published.
The Prep Week is intended to help the ICANN community prepare for the main ICANN87 meeting, which will take place from 17 to 22 October 2026 in Bali.
