ICANN seeks governance and compliance platform to strengthen risk management
CANN has launched a request for proposals for a new software platform to help manage governance, risk and compliance activities across the organisation. The system is intended to improve oversight of policies, security requirements and regulatory obligations.
The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has issued a request for proposals (RFP) to identify a provider of a governance, risk and compliance (GRC) software platform. The organisation is seeking a cloud-based solution that will help it manage internal policies, assess risks and monitor compliance with security and privacy requirements more efficiently.
According to ICANN, the platform should support functions such as policy and document management, enterprise risk management, third-party risk assessments, and compliance monitoring. It should also help the organisation evaluate its compliance with internationally recognised security standards, including ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 and SOC 3, as well as privacy regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Additional features include automated evidence collection and reporting tools.
Interested providers can submit proposals through ICANN’s procurement process until 11 September 2026.
