The IETF 127
The IETF 127 meeting will be held from 14 to 20 November 2026 in San Francisco, United States. The IETF Hackathon and IETF Codesprint take place on 14 to 15 November. Events to help new participants get the most out of IETF meetings begin on Sunday, 15 November afternoon. Participants should plan their travel accordingly
The event is organised by the Internet Engineering Task Force, an open international community responsible for developing and maintaining the technical standards that underpin the global internet. IETF meetings are working forums where participants collaborate through working groups, plenary sessions, and informal discussions.
IETF 127 is expected to cover a broad range of technical topics, including internet protocols, routing, security, transport, and emerging network technologies. Participation is typically open to engineers, researchers, network operators, policymakers, and others with an interest in internet standardisation.
Further details, including registration information and the meeting agenda, are available on the official event page.
