The LACNIC Technical Forum will take place during LACNIC 45, scheduled for 11–15 May 2026 in Guadalajara, Mexico.

The Forum is a dedicated space within LACNIC’s annual event that brings together Internet Service Providers (ISPs), network operators, technical experts, and other stakeholders interested in internet technologies and policies in the Latin American and Caribbean region. It offers an opportunity for participants from academia, civil society, the private sector, government, and the wider internet community to exchange operational knowledge, discuss regional technical priorities, and present ongoing work.

LACNIC 45 will feature five days of technical sessions, presentations, and opportunities for networking and knowledge sharing.

As part of this programme, LACNIC is inviting the submission of presentations for the 2026 Technical Forum. Contributions may cover IP network operations, routing and switching protocols, the Domain Name System (DNS), interconnection ecosystems such as IXPs, peering and CDNs, as well as IPv6 transition and deployment, including IPv6 Mostly and IPv6 Only implementation experiences.
