Registration for ICANN85 is now open
Hosted by the National Internet Exchange of India, the hybrid forum will bring the global community together to review and advance policy and technical work. Participants planning to attend onsite must register by 6 March 2026, and the full schedule will be published on 9 February 2026.
Registration has opened for ICANN85, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers’ next Community Forum, which will take place from 7 to 12 March 2026 in Mumbai, India. The dedicated meeting website is now live, and participants who intend to join the event onsite must register by 6 March 2026. The forum will be held in a hybrid format at the Jio World Convention Center and hosted by the National Internet Exchange of India.
ICANN85 carries particular significance because it is the final public meeting before the launch of the 2026 round of the New Generic Top-Level Domains (gTLD) Program in April. This positions the event as a key moment for communities and constituencies to review pending policy work and operational preparations related to domain name expansion, as well as to advance broader discussions on internet stability, security and resilience.
