LAC–EU Civil Society Forum

In the lead-up to the IV CELAC–EU Summit (9–10 November 2025), the LAC–EU Civil Society Forum will bring together civil society organisations from Latin America, the Caribbean, and the European Union to exchange perspectives on shared global challenges and bi-regional cooperation.

Building on the 2023 EU–Latin America & the Caribbean Forum: Partners in Change, this year’s Forum will focus on strengthening inclusive participation – engaging youth, women’s and indigenous groups, and social actors – to contribute directly to the Summit’s agenda.

Co-organised by the Government of Colombia and the European Union, with technical support from the EU-funded Policy Forum for Development (PFD), the event will feature around 200 in-person participants and livestreamed sessions. The Forum will conclude with a Joint Declaration of Civil Society, presenting recommendations and priorities to Heads of State and Government at the CELAC–EU Summit.
