Empowering Civil Society Organisations in Global Internet Governance

CADE aims to enhance the capacity of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) for effective advocacy in multilateral and multistakeholder internet governance (IG) processes. It will foster inclusive participation, particularly from the Global South, and promote a human-centric policy approach in shaping digital policies and standards.

Objectives:

Increased Capacity:

Strengthen CSOs’ abilities to engage meaningfully in IG processes through mapping, research, and comprehensive capacity development programs.

Enhanced Engagement:

Facilitate greater participation of CSOs in global and regional IG forums, fostering dialogue, trust, and collaboration to promote human-centric policies.

Cooperation and Inclusivity:

Build strategic alliances between CSOs from the Global North and the Global South, enhancing cooperation, inclusivity, and connecting global IG policy processes with local initiatives.

Our four-year project kickstarted in January 2024.
